Titel 17 USC §512(f) sieht zivilrechtliche Schadensersatzstrafen, einschließlich Kosten und Anwaltsgebühren, gegen jede Person vor, die bestimmte Informationen in einer Benachrichtigung über Verstöße nach 17 USC §512(c)(3) wissentlich und materiell falsch darstellt.
